SAM LEMANN

Guitarist Sam Lemann moved to Melbourne in 1990 following a tour with th Perth based band The Jam Tarts. Prior to this he won the 1983 National Guitar Competition at Tamworth at the age of 16 and led a busy musical life.
After moving to Melbourne Sam became a regular member of The Moovin' and Groovin' Orchestra, Andy Baylor's Cajun Combo and Gypsy Swing. He is also an intermittent member of many ensembles such as The Swinging Sidewalks, The Romana Geerman Trio, Uncle Bill and accompanist to singers Leslie Avril and Lisa Miller. Sam also tours with The Sundowners Bush Band and frequently records with Aboriginal groups in the Kimberley region of WA. He has appeared on over 40 CDs!
