IVANA TOMASKOVA
Violin
Ivana began her studies as a student at the Experimental
School for talented Young Artists. Later she studied at the Conservatorium
in Brno.
After hearing her play, Leonid Kogan, the virtuosic violinist recommened
her to study at the Tchaikovski Conservatory in Moscow.
Ivana has participated in a number of prestigious international competitions held in Italy, USA, Great Briatin and South Africa. She won prizes for outstanding artistic performance.
Ivana has given concerts both in the Czech Republic and abroad, making recordings for radio and television companies. She often performs around Sydney and Melbourne.
2004 is a year of travel for Ivana to Europe for a series
of concerts and performances.
