Howard Cairns came to Melbourne with the show 'One for the Money'. Finding a diverse and healthy music scene here, he settled and 'fell in' with folk and blues musicians, rock musicians and the western swing scene.
He continues to work in all these styles; however, the jazz scene is where he is most in demand.
