CONCERTINO TRIO
Three Russian masters. Wild but can be tamed!
The Trio is led by Australia's virtuoso violinist - Igor Oskolkov, established
by excellent cellist, Alex Begelfor and completed by exceptional, virtuoso
pianist Vitaly Barishnikov.
Special guest - DASHA - often joines these musicians at the concerts and Festival trips.

They engage audience with their technical brilliance an
energetic, fun repertoire. They play a diverse range of music:
- classical
- eastern european
- colourful world folk
- contemporary
- classical pop
The Trio often tour the Australian country-side performing
at wineries and local Art Centres. They also play at local festivals like
The Melbourne Festival (Spiegeltent), Apollo Bay Festival, The Blue Note
Festival and others. They perform on TV shows (Bert Newton Show). In 2001
they toured to festivals such as The Singapore Community Life Arts Programme
(CLAP) and The Art Jeonju Sori-Festival, White Hill & Seoul in South
Korea.
They also played as a support band for such musicians as the legendary
Stephane Grappelli. The Trio is often commissioned to perform at well
known venues such as The Melbourne Concert Hall, Chapel off Chapel, Czech
House.
Over the last five years, The Trio produced numerous cds ranging from
traditional gypsy and world music to classical and classical-pops.
They are hugely successful and leave audiences craving more:
